Advantages of Solar Energy
1. Renewable Energy Source
The single biggest advantage is solar doesn’t use fossil fuel. This means it doesn’t pollute the atmosphere. Solar doesn’t have to use oil pipelines, cargo ships or railroad cars to get to your home.
Solar is available any place the sun shines, and we certainly get plenty of sun shine in Texas! And, really good news, science estimates there will be sunshine for at least 5 billion years.
2. Reduced Electric Bills
Reductions over 70-100% PLUS are not unusual. In addition if your system produces more energy than you consume you may be able to sell the excess back to the energy company who provides your home service! Wouldn’t it be great to have the power company PAY YOU for a change??
3. Reduced Maintenance Expense
Aside from ensuring they stay clean and unobstructed solar systems typically require little or no maintenance.
Typical panels will last 20 years or more and the only other parts that may need replacement is the relatively inexpensive converter and, possibly, any cables exposed to the elements.

1 – Unlike some blown in or bat style insulation radiant barriers don’t absorb moisture. Moisture retention reduces the efficiency of insulation that used “mass” to provide a barrier.
The secret to radiant barriers is that it doesn’t rely on “mass” to insulate! Radiant barrier reflects temperature back to it point of origin. It helps to keep the outside temperatures out and the inside temperatures in.
2 – Radiant barriers are not a fiber material which can be inhaled (like wool, asbestos or fiberglass).
3 – As a reflective insulator radiant barriers can reflect up to 97% of radiant heat! in addition our double faced barrier sandwiches insulation material which also increases the “R” value of your whole house insulation.
4 – Unlike blown in or bat insulation, radiant barriers cannot settle
5 – Radiant barriers provide additional insulation and can be installed over existing attic or crawl space insulation.
6 – Rodents etc. will not chew on non-organic material found in radiant barriers.
7 – Radiant barriers can be used to wrap ductwork and water lines to reduce heat loss and energy usage; another way to save money.
